Professional home inspection services for Utah County
A professional home evaluation of more than 1,600 items inside and outside the home is the core of the Pillar To Post inspection. Our inspectors conduct a visual inspection of accessible systems and components of the home including:
- Structure and foundation
- Electrical systems
- Plumbing systems
- Roofs and Attics
- Basements and Crawl Spaces
- Gutters and Drainage
- Walls, Floors and Ceilings
- Porches and Decks
- Property and Site
We also inspect and operate:
- Furnaces in heating season
- Air Conditioning in cooling season
- Plumbing Fixtures in Kitchens and Baths
- Water Heaters
- A representative sampling of Lights and Receptacles
- A representative sampling of Windows and Doors
- Built-in Appliances
We also offer these additional services throughout the communities of Utah County:
- Methamphetamine (meth) testing
- Wood destroying insects (Termites) inspections
- Condominium inspections
- Asbestos and Lead testing
- Pre-sale inspections (10+ summarized reports with color photography highlighting the features of the house to provide to potential buyers)
Each inspection report is printed on site during the inspection. The report includes color photographs and information regarding any unique features in the home (galvanized plumbing, carbon monoxide detectors, hydronic heating, basement leaks, etc.) We then spend time to review the report with you and walk through the home and point out any items included in the written report. We encourage our clients to ask as many questions as they think of and even after the inspection we are always available to help homeowners understand and better maintain their homes.
As a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) you can trust us to objectively and independently provide you with a comprehensive analysis of the home’s major systems and components—apart from anyone's interests other than your own.
